Project Description: The Project developed land port facility in two locations Hilli in Dinajpur district and Sonamasjid in Chapainawabganj district. PHPLL and PSPLP were selected through a tender floated by Bangladesh Land Port Authority (BLPA) to build, operate and maintain ports under BOT (build-own-transfer) basis for a term of 25 years. The Project was awarded to provide storage facility at the border point of the country. The Project also offered facilities for administrative office building, dormitory, police barrack, security wall, approach and internal road, watch tower, go-down, parking area, ware-houses, cold storage, fork-lifting facility, truck mounted crane, weighing bridge, open stack yard etc.
